GERALDTON CURLING CLUB'S NEWEST LIFE MEMBERS!
​
During Senior Curling on Dec. 3, Ian McPherson, President of GCC, presented Life Memberships to two very deserving individuals - Julie & Mike Davis!
​
Mike looked after men's league membership back in the 1980s, helped with ice installation for many years, and food preparation/serving at many Ladies Bonspiels. He also stepped up to prepare ice for the Tuesday afternoon league, when there was no one available to look after it!
​
Julie looked after the Junior League for 19 seasons, in addition to coaching club bantam and junior teams in Northern Ontario competitions. Whenever the club needed someone to help out with food preparation for bonspiels, or assistance in hosting club or NOCA playdowns, Julie was always there with a helping hand.
Congratulations to Julie and Mike!!!

ROWAN's LAW - Concussion Awareness Rules for ALL sport oganizations became law in Ontario on July 1/19. ALL athletes under 26 years of age, parents of athletes under 18, coaches, team trainers and officials must confirm every year that they have reviewed Ontario's Concussion Awareness Resources.
