The Geraldton Curling Club will be hosting the Northern Ontario Curling Association John Shea Insurance Mixed Provincial Championship. This event will take place from March 22nd to March 25th, 2012.
Eight teams have entered the championship, with teams ranging from North Bay, Sudbury, Thunder Bay and Kakabeka Falls. The format for this event will be a triple knockout with four qualifying teams playing in a modified page playoff.
The winner will advance as the Northern Ontario Champion to the Canadian Mixed Championship at the Town of Mount-Royal Curling Club in Montreal November 15 to 24, 2012.
Come out to the club Thursday through Sunday to watch some competitive curling, and to cheer the teams on!
